Margot CameronFor over 30 years, Margot Cameron has consulted in strategic human and organizational issues with clients in the federal government and high tech sector. Specializing in employee-based change, her particular skills lie in working with groups and individuals to help them effect changes in their organizations and managerial roles. Margot utilizes an extensive array of psychological exercises, instruments, and personality assessment tools to achieve concrete results, helping people achieve effective working relations and personal stability. She combines expertise in individual and group organizational performance with a solid knowledge of strategic planning processes to support high impact strategic planning and the setting of new directions and strategic goals.

Assisting management with change and communication strategy and advice, Margot provides coaching on process and interpersonal issues; organization design and development issues; identification and integration of differing cultures; employee surveys; and strategic planning, particularly in human resources management. She has also done extensive work evaluating government programs.  Margot is a frequent presenter at conferences and symposia, and has contributed to various publications.

Margot’s public service career includes positions at the Treasury Board Secretariat, Employment and Immigration, Indian and Northern Affairs, and the Office of the Auditor General. At Consulting and Audit Canada, she served as a Principal Consultant and A/Deputy Director before moving to Right Management Consultants as Director, Organizational Strategy and Effectiveness in their Ottawa office.

Margot Cameron received an Honours BA from Trent University, a Maîtrise-ès-Lettres from the Université de Montpellier in France, and a Certificate in Advanced Strategic Change Management from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
